Thank you for your interest. We are accepting new students at this time on a limited basis.  Our classes have shifted from group classes to one-on-one online training platform and live private/semi -private sessions. Students are free to record their own classes with Laoshur for future reference. Laoshur is a title that signifies master level instructor.

Harmonizing Fist is a small highly personalized non-commercialized school offering in-depth guided instructions to maximize your learning curve. We know from experience that the best way to acquire skills is through a well-structured program of inquiry, analysis, application and self-discovery. We focus on the application and understanding of Martial Arts and the 5 Element Theory as it applies to health, qi (chi) development, and martial arts skills.

There are definitely benefits to working with a teacher live. The guidance, motivation, and personal attention a teacher can provide are invaluable. Laoshur Muntu Isom’s personal skill is unquestionable, and his ability to teach martial arts is often proven by the skill of his students.

Most important, he is committed to teaching the real fighting secrets of the martial arts, without holding anything back. 

We are available for those who want to receive deeper insights into your martial arts training, online or private lessons for Wing Chun, Bagua, Qigong or 7 Star Shaolin Mantis. Our ranking system is not based upon belts, but rather the successful completion of our supervised course of study, in-house rigorous testing, and the comprehensive attainment of specific skills.

There are only 4 levels of ranking. Our ranking system are not based upon belts but the attainment of authentic skills in our system. 
 
 Student or Practitioner Level (Basic certification on completion of the first 2 forms, basic qi sao single and double hands  and basic application.
 
The next level is Intermediate Level Certification (based upon learning the 3 Intermediate levels forms, intermediate level Qi sao and the Wooden Dummy Form(Mook Yan Jong) with the understanding of  creative improvised applications.
 
The level that follows intermediate is Advance Level based upon completion of the advanced level forms and applications. At this level a student should be able to adapt and customize the applications that best suit them. Weapons are taught such as the single, double saber and staff. An advance student must have the ability to disarm weapons as well. He/she should also be able to use art to counter the tactics of boxers, grapplers, karate, etc. and other martial artists; an advanced certification is awarded for this accomplishment. 
 
The final phase of training is learning how to communicate and teach beginners and students of various background and how to motivate them to attaining the skill. This is the Level of the Sifu. The final level of certification is awarded to the individual at this level. It is the sifu’s responsibility to select students, teach and spread knowledge of the art to future generation.

All classes are taught in a safe progressive manner with scientific explanation for the when, what, where, why, and how approach. We also offer holistic healing for mind, body, spirit imbalances at lifeishealing.com 

Online Enrollment is available to everyone.
Contracts are not required. Pay as you learn, however dedication is a must. The first 3 months can serve as a short-term trial period for new students to check out classes without obligation.
